Updates To Australian Sailing Website & Learning Centre
Australian Sailing is modernising our e-learning platform (Learning Centre) in collaboration with the Australian Sports Commission (ASC). This includes:
- Improved course access and navigation
- Updated and new course content
- Enhanced learning experience
As part of this modernisation, we are transitioning to a new Learning Management System (LMS). This requires updates to website content, URL links, and access to the Learning Centre and Instructor and Coach resources.
Access to certain sections of the Resource Hub is temporarily unavailable. Please try again in 1–2 business days.
The new LMS integrates Australian Sailing’s training content with the Australian Sports Commission Learning Centre. This provides a seamless experience by directly linking courses to your Australian Sailing Profile. Learners will have one centralised platform for Australian Sailing, Australian Sports Commission and Sport Integrity Australia courses.
Incomplete courses in the current LMS must be completed by Thursday 20th February 11.59pm (AEDT). Any courses not completed by this date will need to be restarted in the new system when it launches in early March 2025.
The new Learning Centre will be accessible from early March 2025.
From early March 2025 you will be able to access the new Learning Centre via the tile in your Australian Sailing Profile. Log in here.
No, your Australian Sailing Profile provides access to the new Learning Centre. You don’t need to create another account.
Yes, all course completions will be recognised and displayed in your Australian Sailing Profile. Some courses may appear under a new name, which will also be reflected on your profile.
Note that you may have duplicated accreditations or course completions on your profile for a short period as Australian Sailing transition systems.
Yes, if you selected "Sailing" when setting up your ASC account, any courses you completed before March 2025 will also appear in your Australian Sailing Profile from early March 2025.
Your profile will be updated with all relevant information by early March 2025.
