- Rye YC used Pacers and Power Boat adventures, they also purchased 5 Wind SUPs using seed funding.
- The club ran 3 day experiences and 6 week courses.
- 60 participants in total went through OutThere Sailing
- Traditional conversion to membership was 10% using Start Sailing. OutThere Sailing conversion was 70% to club membership.

Royal Brighton Yacht Club

- RBYC used their existing fleet of RS Quests, as well as SUP’s from a nearby vendor.
- The club ran all their programs during the school holidays.
- The first day of their program was promoted as a single day experience, the remaining 4 day course was then promoted to those participants who had completed the Experience.
- 85% of participants who completed the Monday Experience enrolled for the remainder of the week.

The Boatshed

- The Boatshed used only dinghy's due to restrictions on the lake
- The Boatshed also ran experiences on the first day leading into their week courses.
- The Boatshed offered their courses in 2 or 4 day options which parents enjoyed.
- They also offered Friday night sailing experiences, 2 hours for $20.
- The Boatshed also engaged the Centre for Multicultural Youth, local youth groups and councils and ran group OutThere Experiences.
“These programs were really successful, it's often a unique experience for the kids which changes their attitude towards sailing”. |
