Add your event to the national calendar
For Clubs to upload an event to the Australian Sailing website they must meet the following criteria:
- The event must be organised and sanctioned by an Australian Sailing member club
- There must be a club representative present for the duration of the event
- The event must comply with relevant Australian Sailing safety regulations
- Events can be any sailing related activity run by the club, this includes (but not limited to):
- Regattas
- Fitness classes
- Australian Sailing courses
- Social sailing events
- Workshops
- Club run courses and events
- The events should be run in an friendly, inclusive and safe environment
As a club/class or centre set up their own events or courses, it is possible to request your events be added to the National Calendar. The approval process is a manual process by which Online Services receive a notification that there is an event request. If you need your event added urgently, please contact your local Club Services Officer.
The following steps outline how to request event approval:
1. After logging in to your revSPORT portal, click Events in the left-hand menu.
2. In the events area, locate your event in your event list and click edit.
3. When in the event, click Request Approval from the menu on the right hand side
4. In the following screen tick the 'Request addition to calendar' checkbox available and add a note stating the category of event and then click submit request.
