Who can measure a sports boat for a CBH rating?
Published Wed 30 Nov 2022
CBH is a rating system based on measurement data rather than performance and results. Because of this, it is important that measurements are taken by appropriately qualified and accredited people.
Australian Sailing will take data and measurements as appropriate from any measurer accredited under these frameworks:
- Measurer - Official Class (Class: CBH / Sports Boats)
- Measurer - IRC and ORC
- Measurer - IRC and ORC Sails
- Measurer - Sails and Spars
The manual for measuring under CBH is available on the Ratings Hub. There is also guidance on weighing requirements.
Information about CBH can be found here.
