SailPass Upgrade

Over the past few months we have been working with revSPORT to upgrade the SailPass functionality. The SailPass upgrade project has just been completed.

Please find a summary of each phase below:
Phase 1
| When entering numerical fields for the mobile and home number fields, the number keypad now appears. Note: This does not apply for the postcode field due to a multitude of international clients that must include letters as well as numbers into the postcode field. |

| Clubs with temporary memberships enabled can now specify whether they want temporary members to appear in their main member list. View MEMBERS> SETTINGS, there is now an option 'Display temporary members on the member's overview page' which can be turned on and off at your discretion. |

| Temporary members now contain a count on the dashboard AND the member's overview page of the number of temporary members with an active today and/or future date. |
Phase 2
Phase 2 in a nutshell provides the SailPass holder with limited login privileges in order to maintain their details and SailPasses online.
| Allow seasonally active temporary members the ability to log into a customised member account. | |
| Allow temporary members to update their personal details. | |
| Allow temporary members to view their used SailPass dates. | |
| Allow temporary members to purchase more SailPass days. | |
| Allow temporary members to upgrade to full membership. | |
| Allow administrators to turn off the ability for temporary members to change their SailPass dates (overall not per payment class). | |
| Allow administrators to turn on the ability for temporary members to change their SailPass dates (overall not per payment class). | |
| Allow administrators to set lock-out periods prior to temporary members changing their SailPass dates (overall not per payment class). |

Phase 3
Encompasses adjustments to various date and time settings - the ability to set up a SailPass to span the duration of a regatta, season rollover settings for SailPass holders and blocking out dates in bulk.
| Allow SailPass dates to be either consumable per season (no carrying over to new seasons) (existing functionality), or to be 'lifetime' (new functionality) | |
| Allow administrators to block out dates in bulk (rather than blocking out one date at a time) | |
| Ability to specify a fixed date range when creating a membership type (payment class), such that the member is locked to a particular date range. |
