With the busy summer sailing season getting into full swing, it’s time to make sure your boat’s rating certificate(s) or measurement certificate are all in order.

If you need to obtain, update or renew any certificates, you should do so as soon as possible. This way you can be sure you’ll be ready to go by your event deadlines. 

Anyone competing in races and regattas over the New Year period will need to have all applications submitted by the relevant deadline:

• Class measurement certificates – 15 December 
• IRC certificates for the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race – 30 November for normal applications, 6 December for expedited applications (the Notice of Race requires certificates be finalised by 15 December)
• IRC & ORC certificates will be processed up until the Ratings Office closes on 18 December.

Any applications submitted after the above dates will not be processed until after 15th of January 2024 when the Ratings Office re-opens.
