Public comment is invited on two proposed prescriptions to the Racing Rules of Sailing. The feedback received is important to Australian Sailing and will help to inform the decision on how to proceed. Comments close on 14 April 2024.

The proposed prescriptions to the RRS that are available to comment on are:

1. Weather and Routing Advice - rule 41(c)
2. Scanning Technology for Autopilots - rule 52

Please click on each link to view and provide comment on the proposed prescription. These are of most interest to offshore racing multihull and monhull boat owners and clubs. In short, each are trying to cap costs to boat owners due to technical advancements, and keep competition in the hands of the competitors.
