The process of inviting boats to revalidate their IRC and ORC certificates will be beginning soon.

Boat owners will soon receive an email from Australian Sailing inviting them to revalidate their IRC and ORC ratings. We expect that the process will begin around mid-May 2022. There aren’t any changes expected to data or measurements being collected and the process should be straight forward for owners.

We also remind owners that Australian Sailing offers a 50% discount on all IRC and ORCi rating certificate applications for the last three months of the rating year. This is a terrific opportunity to get some trials or amendments done, or even revalidate this year’s rating for some 'late in the season' campaigning. Boats without an IRC or ORCi certificate can even get started with a new certificate at the heavily discounted rate.
