Certificate Deadlines for 2024

With the busy summer sailing season getting into full swing, it’s time to make sure your boat’s rating certificate(s) or measurement certificate are all in order.
If you need to obtain, update or renew any certificates, you should do so as soon as possible. This way you can be sure you’ll be ready to go by your event deadline.
Anyone competing in races and regattas over the New Year period will need to have all applications submitted by the relevant deadline:

Class measurement certificates – 15 December (Optimists must apply by 6 January to get their certificate before the Nationals)

IRC certificates for the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race has a certificate deadline of 29 November with changes allowed until 13 December. The Willie Smith Launceston to Hobart Yacht Race has a certificate deadline of 6 December. The Australian Yachting Championship certificate deadline is 15 December.

IRC & ORC certificates will be processed up until the Ratings Office closes on 19 December 2024.
Any application submitted after the above dates will not be processed until after the 13th of January 2025 when the Ratings Office re-opens.
