Sports boat owners wanting to check their CBH, or that of other classes or boats can do so by accessing publicly available data on the Australian Sailing Ratings Hub.

The CBH rating list is publicly available and updated with new boats and new classes as they come to hand. The list provides far more than just the boat's CBH too. The data used to calculate the CBH is shown, including measurements such as its length, beam, sail dimensions and engine type.

The publicly available information helps sports boat owners understand what has been considered in competitors' CBH ratings. Organising authorities can also use a 'Technical Committee' under Racing Rule of Sailing 92 to perform equipment inspection without undue difficulty.
