The Bar Karate podcast interviewed David Tillett AM and they described him as one of the most influential people in sailing for the last 40 years.

The Bar Karate podcast describe themselves as a sailing podcast where you might learn nothing, but you will have fun doing it. They went on to describe David as “the most important man in sailing you probably have never heard of!” The interview might be described as a wonderful romp through the history of the sport. It is definitely an insight to a person who has played a very influential role in sailing.

David Tillett was also inducted into the South Australian Sport Hall of Fame after decades of service to the sport including being a race official as an umpire and judge.
