Appeal published to Australian Sailing website

A new appeal has been published to the Australian Sailing website.
The appeal is about a windward keep clear incident resulting in damage at start of race. Each boat protested the other and the hearings were held together. The appeal contended that the protest committee’s facts were incorrect and that consequently there were incorrect conclusions, and an incorrect decision made.
Appeals are a great way to learn about the rules and we recommend that competitors, coaches and race officials take the time to read them.
