A new appeal has been published to the Australian Sailing website.
Reading appeals are a great way to learn how the Racing Rules of Sailing are applied to different situations.
This appeal, 2022-07 SYC Esprit vs Black Diamond centres around RRS 16.1 When a right-of-way boat changes course, it shall give the other boat room to keep clear. It is an interesting read, as the appeal also brings into question the validity of the protest.
