Annual Renewal Fee
As an accredited Instructor and/or Sailing Coach you will be required to pay an annual renewal fee. This fee provides you with certain benefits, as well as contributes to further development of program resources for Instructors and Coaches. The benefits are as follows:
- Continuous support from Australian Sailing
- Professional development opportunities throughout the year at the regional Instructors Conferences
- Liability insurance for accredited Instructors and Coaches, as well as personal accident insurance. Note the insurance for Instructor is only provided if you are delivering an Australian Sailing accredited Course at an Accredited Centre. Your Centre will hold Public Liability Insurance as a condition of being accredited with Australian Sailing, but as a current qualified Instructor you are also covered under an Australian Sailing Policy against public liability matters that might arise against you personally, if you are delivering a Course at an accredited Discover Sailing Centre
- Promotion of Instructor/Sailing Coach qualification through the search facility on the Australian Sailing websites
